Heat defence products? Flat iron or blow dryer?

Question

I recentley purchased "Alberto Volume Blast Heat Defence Volumizing Root Boosting Spray"

The bottle says it protects hair from heat damage for blow dryers, MY wuestion is are heat proctectants for blow dryers good for flat iron heat too?

well flat irons: if u use 2 much u can dry out and kill ur hair

blow dryers: better 4 ur hair and the environment

Heat protectacts from hair dryers are not as strong. Believe it or not the BEST heat protectant from flat irons is hair spray because it completely coats the hair and only allows so much to penetrate through it. It also helps keep the hair straighter longer, so long as you don't mind a bit of stiffness.

Heat protecting spray for flat irons are probably slightly different.  They may be thicker because the flat iron puts much more heat on your hair than a blow dryer.  If you don't have anything else I would suggest still trying to use the heat protecting spray for the blow dryer.  Some protection is better than none.
