  1. Any, or even a combination, of those 3 are possible, as they are the three ways of energy transfer.  Thus, since no specific situation is described, I would say all 3.


  2. if it involves contact then it is conduction.

  3. Conduction is transfer of heat via direct contact. Convection is the transfer of heat via motion. Radiation is transfer of heat via emittance. I'm going to go with conduction because its the most likely scenario.
