Heat mat problem again!!!?

Question

hello again i have another heat mat problem.

i need to take it of and put it on a differant tank.

is it ok if i put a heat mat on a plastic tank? it is pretty thick plastic.

Once you have placed a heat mat you cannot remove it and reuse it!!!  You will short circuit it!!!

No, you can't take it off. It ruins the wires and it won't work properly anymore. Yes you can put it on thick plastic.
