coolant was leaking onto my floorboard and I quickly realized I needed a new heater core, I replaced it and now the leak has stopped but the window is still fogging over even with all air off, what could be the problem now?

  1. It probably still has some moisture in and under the carpet and sound deadener pad. That coolant takes forever to dry up completely, for some reason. There may also be some still in the heater box itself. If you're not loosing it from the cooling system, I wouldn't worry about it. If you are, start checking for small leaks around where the heater hoses connect to the core and for small cracks in along the entire length of the hoses if you reused your old ones.

Good luck, cause winter's just around the corner!!

  2. probably still some water in the rug and floorboard it should evaporate eventually if not you may still have a small water leak somewere double check to make sure
