Heath Herring vs Brock Lesnar

Who is going to win? Why?

Personally I think Lesnar will pull this one out as I feel Herring is on his way down and we'll finally see Lesnar get the break he needs to go from Hype to Fight.

  1. I agree with you lesnar is just way to strong and fast for herring! and herrings fight against kongo didn't show anything real promising on the ground, even with kongo having no ground game! Lesnar put up a very good fight against former champion frank mir and he just got sloppy and got caught but mir looked like he had his hands full!

  2. watch out for herring throwing knees to the head as lesnar goes for the take down, but with that said I think lesnar wins by gnp, and to the guy wanting s*x up herring, are they no alley's close to your house you can go get some dik and stop wasting others time with that nonsense?

  3. Lesnar is bigger and stronger but Herring is much better looking. A hottie!!!!!!!!! UHHHHMMMMMM ;)

  4. I hope Lesner gets his ******* *** beat, and is released from his contract.

  5. I think Lesnar will, too, but I wouldn't out it passed Herring.  He is pretty tough and has fought some of the best in the world.  Brock better get him early.

  6. I think the UFC wants Lesnar to win...I mean they are holding this in his home state....just like they held the second GSP vs Serra fight in Canada, just like the majority of Michael the CLASSLESS-COUNT Bisping's fights are in England.  Lesnar is a big mone maker.  He will draw a crowd, but he needs this win to keep the crowd drawing in.  However, Heath Herring is a force to be reckoned with though too.  He looked like a different fighter when he came out and beat Cheick Kongo.  I don't really think Heath is on his way down, I think he may finish his contract with UFC and move to another promoter that will pay him more money!

So in my opinion, Lesnar HAS to win this fight, but I wouldn't be surprised if Heath Herring won either!

  7. First of all I think this is going to be a great fight.  I actually don't think that Herring is on his way down. He is actually younger than Brock but has a ton of MMA experience. From what I have seen he is training harder than ever for this fight, because obviously he knows he has never faced someone as powerful as Lesnar. Lesnar on the other hand lost his UFC debut fight and can not lose his first 2 in a row. He still has very little MMA experience, and is basically a 1-dimesional fighter, "ground and pound".  That being said Lesnar could potentially be the best "ground and pounder" in the heavyweight division.  I think as long as Lesnar doesn't get too cocky and try standing with Heath for too long , he should easily be able to take him down and win the fight. If Lesnar chooses to stand I think he will lose. My prediction, is that Lesnar will win because he will play it smart, take it to the ground and pound out Herring.

  8. I feel that Herring was a handpicked opponent for Lesnar in that he's a power striker, with a limited submission game and virtually no takedown defense. He's tough enough that he can go the distance, but not skilled enough to stop Lesnar from doing what he wants to do, which is get a referee stopage due to strikes on the ground, or just ride out the victory on the ground. However, I think that Herring is being underestimated. He IS a tough guy, an experienced MMA fighter; and I think he may have something up his sleeve. If nothing else, he's going to test Lesnar's chin, and we'll see if he can take a real punch.
