  1. A bit of both,  I think she was always going to be hard done by as far as the press are concerned - he is after all a Biritsh Treasure and not a man in his own right ;-).

In my mind he should have protected it better when they got married, sadly hindsight is a wonderful thing but it could have prevented much of this.

Also he has the money to get the best lawyer,  whereas she was reduced to representing herself (both because of problems with lawyers and the financial side of it).  He was always going to come out better and although she didn't get the sum she wanted he didn't get the sum he wanted to pay initially either.

So my answer of a bit of both is because I believe she is wronged by his family, the media and because his vast wealth was always going to see him get a better deal both financially and with his public image.  He is more accustomed to presenting himself, we have seen she is definately not and has obviously let the pressure affect the way she has come across and the press were always going to have a field day with that.

Gold digger - maybe - but if you believe she was the wronged party in the marriage perhaps she thought - S*d it I am not going to be able to live the life I have been accustomed to so he should have to pay for that (and the damage to her personally) and to be honest I can't blame her.

Cold hearted - I haven't seen any part of that and I belive she did genuinly love Paul very much.

I really do hope the press will now leave her and most importantly in all of this, her daughter to live a life free from the media intrusions they have had to endure since she split with Sir Paul.

    Edit

Saw on GMTV the deputy editor of the News of The World and when asked if they would leave her alone she wouldn't commit and basicaly said they would be keeping an eye on her.  So looks like it is going to be an ongoing saga between her and the media.

  2. gold digger. How much money does the women need for crying out loud??!!!!

  3. oh definitely a cold-hearted, opportunistic gold digger, as well as a hard faced money grabbing *****

  4. Gold digger, I'm going to hold back until I see proof of her "charity support".

  5. Second option.

  6. She should be glad he didn't take back her prosthetic leg. I'm sure he paid for that too. She should be happy she still has a leg to stand on.....

  7. "h**l hath no fury like a woman scorned" sounds very apt to me. In the Judge's remarks he also mentioned seeing no evidence that she gave money to any charities   (Sold herself down the river as soon as she said Beatrice couldn't live on £35,000 a year) Live in the real world woman!!

  8. there both as bad as one another

  9. i heard she lost the case because she didn't have a leg to stand on.

And, apparently, she's hopping mad that the payout wasn't larger.

  10. as evil as a pair of child neglectors on holidays in the Algarve.

  11. I sent her a wooden leg at christmas as a stocking filler

  12. Definitely the latter - have you read the judge's ruling?

  13. Does she have to be either.

    I vote neither.

  14. Second one

  15. She played Paul McCartney like a fiddle, she callculated her settlement before she had even said her wedding vows, a cold hearted, gold digging b***h, with 25 million £s.

    Where's the justice here?

  16. i think its pure public hate , an estranged wife ,delaing with one of the biggest UK public figures , being linched by hatefull conjecture

  17. gold digger.

  18. She was virtually unknown before she got herself introduced to Paul McArtney.

She went after a rich man at a time when he was very vulnerable.

It's a shame he didn't listen to his children.

  19. Just a greedy woman.

  20. Cold hearted gold digger. It's not in her nature to be nice!!

  21. Gold digging, whining old harridan. May she endure a lonely life from here on. Everyone knows now what she is like, so I doubt any man would want to know her.

  22. Idiot. ( He should have known they had nothing in common. ) She got more than she had coming for running her big mouth for four years and showing her idiocy.   Well, now he can stop being embarrassed.  Even big shots make mistakes of the heart.

  23. cannot stand the thing!

  24. greedy gold digger

  25. I laughed when she said her daughter couldn't fly 1st class anymore. I'm sure she won't catch rabies.

I don't see why she thinks she deserved more than she got. Why doesn't she just (dare I say it) get herself a job?

  26. Gold digger. Why, when 'happily married' would you keep details of arguements you'd had? She did what she intended to do all along, and that was marry him for his money. The only thing she got wrong was the length of time they were married, she was going for a little longer and was so shocked to find out that Macca wanted out ASAP

  27. I'd say all those rolled into one

  28. I would say opportunistic gold- digger....and i guess she married paul and from very first day she was waiting for this moment in her life....

  29. She's been shortchanged for being a strong woman & not being a mouse for her creepy, obscenely rich weak willed husband who allowed himself to be poisoned towards her by  his spoilt daughter!

This sort of behaviour by children from a former relationship is common but when they are adults it isn't the same thing & they should respect the parents choice!

  30. Gold-digger definitely!! I thought from the start of this relationship that there was something not quite right about it i.e. she planned to use Macca for his wealth.  My husband even agrees with this which is unusual cos he usually avoids this type of thing.  Far as I'm concerned she got £24.3 million too bloody much!  I really think she took advantage of a grieving man.

  31. How dare she publicly moan about getting £24.5 million. There are hundreds of thousands of folk in Britain, and indeed, wordlwide, who are living in poverty. She should be greatful for what she has been awarded and move on with her life.
