Heathrow airport question?

I am going to transfer my flight on Heathrow and I have 1 day stay in London. Does someone know if there is place where you can leave your handback for a day and how much it is. Or is there a phone number I can call and ask. Thanks!

are you in transit for 1 day? if so your luggage may be ekpt by airline then transferrede onto you ongoing flight. If not there is a left luggage section in all terminals

left luggage service is available at all terminals,not sure how much.check online.

if you are in transit, you are responsible for looking after your hand baggage. You should use the facilities at Heathrow, if you can't to leave it there. I wouldn't take it with you into London to a train station - that's wasteful!

London is a great city to explore: use the Heathrow express train - 20 mins between Paddington and Heathrow - much quicker, safer and claener than the Underground (tube).

Most airlines will hold luggage for 24 hours if you have an onward flight with them.

LHR does have left luggage at all terminals at GBP4 / 24 hours (see http://www.airwise.com/airports/europe/L...

If you are staying overnight your hotel would hold it and there is left luggage at many train stations and the main Victoria bus station but at 4 pounds for the day, Heathrow makes more sense.
