im flying from gatwick airport to cancun for my first holiday. We got to get off at heatrow central bus station and catch a connecting bus to gatwick. When we get off at the central bus station in heathrow do we have to walk far to the bus stop for gatwick? does anybody know what stand number we have to go to? this might sound stuppid and probably common sence but this is apparently the biggest bus station in the UK and this is my first time abroad.I just want to get off the bus and get straight to the gatwick bus stop!! Its just me and my girlfriend and I just dont want to mess things up and miss our flight! please can somebody give me a bit of info if you have done this before! thank you

  1. - Allow 3 hours minimum from landing to check-in at the other airport.

    - The transfer price is not included in your airline ticket

    - Your luggage is not transferred for you, you take it on the bus with you.

At Heathrow the buses do not visit each terminal.

    Terminals 1,2,3

For terminals 1,2 and 3 you make your way to the Central Bus Station.

This isn't as bad as it sounds. There are luggage trolley friendly ramps in all the terminals at Heathrow that descend to underground moving walkways similar to that found airside in the terminals.

Allow about 10 minutes for the journey between terminals and central bus station."

When you get to the stand you will probably see a Gatwick infront of the National Express coach.

"Journey Time : Scheduled 75 minutes, but allow much longer.

Frequency: Around 100 services a day each way

On National Express web site do not select Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3,4 in the journey planner, the Heathrow - Gatwick bus doesn't pick up here.

Instead select Heathrow Central Bus Station (Heathrow CBS)"
