Heating oil pumped thru attic. Burner does not always draw enough and cuts off HELP?

Burner cuts off atfer struggling to draw oil No basement Tank is outside ... only place to put it . HELP please!!!!

  1. Try changing the filter..or carry an air bubble & a tubeless tire valve to the attic & blow the line backwards (loosen line to tank)


  2. You might want to bleed the system for air but i would check out if the pump is defective first.

  3. In a scenario like this ,it is essential that all connections are air tight,    Change filter,  get a qualified heating engineer to fit two new flexibles ( supply & return ) and a " Tiger Loop" in close proximity to the burner, and make sure you have a non-return valve in the oil feed,

    If you apply all these measures, you will never have problems again.
