If 30 kcal of heat are supplied to 5 x 102 g of water at 21 C, what is the final temperature of the water in deg C?

I'm getting 24.412 and it's wrong.....?

  1. 1 calorie takes 1 gram of water up 1 degree.  So 30,000 calories, will take 500 grams up by 60 degrees.  So it should be 81 degrees for the final answer.
