  1. I used a 22" x 42" vinyl/nylon bag that won't tear or move. They can be weight adjusted by way of center core. I had them specially custom made the same as those in all the Rocky movies, only lots bigger. The last one I have is new and on ebay. Look under billboxing or email me. Pick it up full in southern New Hampshire (Boston) area or can be shipped empty with filling instructions. These won't move if filled correctly.

  2. Well punch bags are designed to get hit hard so I don't think you'll end up tearing them but to be safe you could get a cow hide leather one.

For filling I use saw dust because I'm not as big as you but it's heavy enough for me , it gives and does not hurt my knuckles.

For you though I would say fill it with sand but still that might be a bad idea, so try filling it with both saw dust and sand, that way it will be heavy, won't swing and won't cause significant damage to your knuckles or wrists.

  3. no offense big fella but I would suggest a floor to ceiling ball to work on your speed and reflex's..as you look as mobile as a phone booth

  4. 200 lbs..

  5. Go to titleboxing.com. Shop for bags there. 150lbs. should be sufficient for a 315 pound dude. Go with a leather heavy bag. That's probably the only material they'd make a bag that heavy out of. Happy punching!!

FYI - if you're relaxed and using correct technique when punching, your punches should have snap, the bag should be making a nice cracking sound and only shake or vibrate. You're pushing your punches, regardless of the weight of the the heavy bag, when the bag swings all over the place.
