Question:

Heavy Period, Second ever! (10pts)?

Okay so I am 3 days early for my second ever period.

I was having alot of fun outside after I got over my cramps this morning and then when I went pee it looked like a bomb had exploded in my underwear!

I was sort of expecting it but my first period had been this light easy "What's so bad about them!?" kind of period. Now I have had to change my underwear twice, and I have to wear 2 panty liners, and sometimes it still goes through!

Now it is bloody, and my first one was brown.

I am a little scared, everytime the blood comes down I can feel it!

Is all of this normal?

Thank you so much, you guys were right on my previous questions, I was getting my second period!

  1. dont worry! it sounds totally normal, your first is usually really light. it sounds like you could do with buying pads that have higher absorbency or try tampons and just make sure you change them frequently :)

  2. It is normal but you should really wear a pad or a tampon...

Then you wouldn't have to change clothes so often and it'll keep you fresh and clean.

    =]

  3. Completely normal, expect them to continue to change, sometimes it can take a few years of having you period for your body to completely regulate a cycle.

  4. it can take a few months for your body to regulate itself for the change in hormones. it's normal to be able to feel the blood come out... i think..  at least i can. it'll be okay just keep a close eye on your undies maybe try a pad instead of panty liner. what your using may not be absorbant evough if your first was so light, and this one is very heavy.

  5. yes its normal

  6. try wearing a pad

  7. It is always heavier the second one.

    its perfectly normal.

its pretty heavy the first 2 days

i guess thats just the joy of ebing a female.

  8. this is normal but in a period or 2 if u dont like the feeling of pads you can try tampons i find those so much better

  9. It's normal, completely normal! So don't worry about it! Your first period was lighter because it was new, your body is now trying to develop a pattern. You can wear more that two pads, maybe talk to your mum about using tampons. Feeling the blood come down is normal too.

  10. Yes this sounds quiet normal, you will soon get use your cycle.it will all settle down in the next 6 months, take care

  11. Sometimes when heavy blood flow or large clots pass through your cervix it makes it possible for you to feel them. It's possible that you have fibroids and that could be the cause of your issues as well.

Are you taking any birth control or just started taking new birth control.I would say that if you are still having major problems then you might want to go to a GYN doctor and  I'm sure that they would be able to help you.

*** I was having the same issues as yourself...and after a quick ultra sound it was discovered that I had several fibroid that was causing me to have bleeding in between my periods. Good Luck***

  12. yes all that is normal. i have had it all. try pads or tampons. i use both tampons during the day and both at night
