The Lecce forward has impressed in his current campaign, and even though there are a lot of clubs on the lookout
for his services, he will be going back to Udinese.
The relegation battling Lecce have not had a lot to be cheerful about in this campaign, as they currently occupy the 18th
position of the Serie A standings. If they fail to improve on their standings within the next six rounds in the Lega, it would mean that the club would be demoted to the Serie B for the next campaign.

His representative stated that his client had raised to prominence following his performances this campaign. He remarked on
the future of his client by saying:
“Do Inter and Milan want him? Today, all of Italy’s top clubs have discovered Muriel’s skill. The problems with adapting to
the League have already been passed by my client. All the top clubs may be interested in him, but Udinese have the option to take him back and I think he will mature for another year there.”
Mauro Cesarini was talking to Radio Crc and stated that the Bianconeri had a knack for finding good talent and polishing them.
He remarked:
“The Zebrette are good at taking important players who have not yet exploded on to the scene. Muriel can cover any position
in attack, but I can see him as a lone striker. How much would he cost? Udinese know the market very well…”
The Friulani outfit paid 1.5 million Euros for the Colombian in the summer of 2010.
