Heavy punching bag?

im planning to get a 70lb heavy bag but im not sure where i want to put it. are they easy to take off from their hangers? also i was planning to put it in my room but im not sure if it would be to low. would that be a problem or can you change the height?

They are more difficult to hang then to take down. If you put it in your room, be sure the hook is securely screwed into a ceiling beam otherwise, you are going to have a big mess on your floor.

Heavy bags are quite annoying to place. You can't just hang them like a picture as the weight and force of the drop (after each time you hit them) could tear right through a solid 2x4. And the hanger is quite big and has a tendency to move as you punch the bag, unless it's anchored.

If your looking for a compact punching bag I suggest a free standing bag. You won't get the same resistance or feel of a heavy bag, but it will be easier to place.
