Heckling at a volleyball game?

Question

What creative things can I yell?

Example: For short players, "Hey Number ___, you must be at least THIS tall to play", etc...

When they hit it out, "Do you need map quest to find the court?"etc....

Any new ideas?

well our hs superfans are amazing they have cheers for everyone on the court. when the other team misses a serve they say thank you or free point. when they hit it out they say just a bit outside or out...out!

but its more fun to just stay positive

during volleyball games, you cannot yell directly at an adversary  something anti sport, otherwise the referee could give you a warning...If you are not playing, i guess it's ok, but instead of saying it directly to the player "do you need map quest.....", you could say, "does this guy/girl need map quest..."

anyway, I don't usually do this, but when someone hits the ball horizontally (hits a wall before the floor), you can yell out "airplane!!"...if someone touches the net badly you can say "something's fishy" or whatever suits you with the word fish...

Why not just cheer positively and loudly FOR your team instead of being unsportsmanlike and cheering against the other team?????

I know they do things like that in basketball games, but volleyball does not want to be like basketball.  We have always had higher class spectators.

I agree strongly with Gordon above - it always feels better for me as a volleyball fan and player to cheer loudly and positively for my favorite team, and let the cold silence greet errors and points against for our opponents.
