  1. Julio wins no matter where it is fought

  2. I would watch it, but it can't be on another crappy, unworthy pay-per view card that I won't buy, and chances are that it will be.

    1.  Yes, this fight is right for both fighters at this stage of their careers.  Chavez, Jr. has been slightly stepping up in his last few fights and this would be the biggest win of his career even if Camacho, Jr. is not the best opponent on his resume.  Camacho, Jr. on the other hand desperately needs a big victory because he has looked very bad in his recent fights and a while back, he lost to a journeyman fighter.

    2.  It doesn't really matter where the fight is fought at in my eyes, but I suspect that promoter Bob Arum will put it in Mexico on one of his "Latin Fury" PPV cards because it will do very good business over there.

    3.  Chavez, Jr. wins this fight easily.  Camacho, Jr. is one of the most overhyped fighters of the past generation.  People complain about Chavez, Jr. living off his father's name, but its nothing compared to Camacho, Jr.  Hector has been boxing since 1996 and has yet to beat a truly worthy opponent- his only claim to fame is his father.  Chavez, Jr. is arguably doing the same thing, but I don't think that it is nearly as bad as Camacho, Jr. and I do think that Julio has some worthwile talent- obviously not like his father, but he at least has some potential, unlike Camacho, Jr.

  3. Yes, I would watch this fight. I think it would be a way better challenge for Chavez Jr. and a good fight for Camacho jr. to try to come back. I also think they should fight in the U.S so the (judgeing could be fair but you never know about that)???? But at the end I see Chavez Jr. Winning by late KO!!  Let's wait & see if this fight happens? I hope so!!

  4. Camacho has this one, man. He will pwn Julio.

...I don't really have any idea, I just think Camacho sounds more macho than Julio.

  5. I would watch it, but it can't be on another crappy, unworthy pay-per view card that I won't buy, and chances are that it will be.

  6. Chavez Jr. beating Camacho Jr. 9th rd KO.

Both will try to take it into the later rounds, after the "feeling out" process, but Chavez Jr will come out on top.

  7. This fight is an absolute slaughter.  Camacho Jr is overhyped and recently has been fighting 6 and 8 rounds bouts against non-descript opposition.  He has been a pro for about 10 years now and yet, he hasn't fought many (if any) contenders.  Chavez Jr is a very exciting prospect and a pulverizing puncher.  Chavez Jr will beat Camacho Jr worse than Chavez Sr beat Camacho Sr back in '92!!!

  8. Close fight with Chavez Jr. winning a close and hard fought fight.

I have just noticed something on here with Matthew P and Mark Andrew M.  They have the exact same answer.  Why is this?  Looks suspicious to me, can someone explain the reason?

  9. chaves is may pick  to  win. some say he hand picked his fights?   but he wins even if it was in a phone box

  10. Both fighters haven't fought any named guys, instead choosing to pad their records with stiffs. The difference is that  Chavez has not lost to his stiffs while Camacho has.

Along with being taller and having a reach advantage, Julio looks to be much more smooth and talented then Camacho.

Camacho is a southpaw which could give Camacho trouble. And I'm sure both would be coming into this fight with their fathers ego in check, you might see something crazy out of a both of them a good ol backyard scrap between two kids.

But in the end I'm going to go with Julio Cesar Chavez by late round stoppage.
