Hi guys! Quandry/Ray A wishing a happy new year to all including even the Collingwood fans :-). Who'll be my valentine?

It's season time (well close enough) and to follow on from Romper's answer to Broooooooooceeeee's question:

Who can beat my mighty Cats (God bless them and I'm not even religious) from winning their second flag in 45 years?

What should I wear to the Grand Final this year? A blue and white thong? Perhaps a hat with a roaring Cat on top?

I know WHAT might stop them - but which team or player can do them damage if they stay fit and focused?

Well no one really came close last year. who else finished in the top 4?

I'm a kangas fan and i honestly think we played above ourselves last year. im hoping (hopping?) for a top 8 finish this year.

To answer your question....no team will come close but I think Hawthorn and Collingwood will have a good crack at it..speaking of which -

The mind boggles Quandry! I'd leave the thong in the cupboard though. lol. I thought they'd won more than that, especially in the Abblett years.I don't know how the Swans are travelling this year, but I don't hold too much hope(again) As for my other two teams Ess & Haw, the less said the better!

Hawthorn, West Coast, St Kilda ...

Geelong were pretty good last year, but they weren't as good or as dominant as the Bombers were in 2000, and they lost in 2001 to the Brisbane Lions who came from basically nowhere, well 5th in 2000 but they weren't really considered contenders.

WE here in CHICAGO say the CATS will definatly win the GRAND FINAL but look out for COLLINGWOOD, and the sleeper team of HAWTHORN, one of those 2 will be the opponent

Ray, don't get so cocky, please. I am very superstitious and I am not going to discuss repeating as premiers until we (yes we, I am a member) win a PF and are in the GF.
