How about Charles P. Steinmetz, a hunch-backed dwarf, who, in 21 pages, defined the operation of alternating current electricity, which, along with Tesla&#039;s genius, defined the 20th Century.

Steinmetz wrote this piece is a very cold office, because some mice had nested in his wood stove and he didn&#039;t wish to disturb them.

Though some consider him an engineer, the bulk of his contributions were mathematical explanations of physical interactions.

Makes for a great story. Brilliant man.
