Following the Serbian ace’s brilliant showings since the start of the 2012/13 season, several European clubs including the Reds and Rossenari have expressed interest in luring the youngster away from Abe Lenstra Stadion in January.
Reports in Dutch media indicates that Liverpool and AC Milan have set their sights on luring Heerenveen attacking midfielder, Filip Djuricic, away from Abe Lenstra Stadion in the upcoming January transfer window.
The fallen English Premier League giants have been struggling to perform brightly since the start of the new season. Occupying the 12th spot on the league table, they have dropped points consistently, and have only managed to bag all three points
in two of their 10 games thus far.
Following their poor showings in the English top flight, the Reds management have set their sights on bringing reinforcements in the upcoming winter transfer market, and have earmarked the 20-year-old as one of their primary targets.
On the other hand, the Milan giants have been in the process of rejuvenating their squad. Although, the Serie A outfit managed to lure several players to San Siro in the summer transfer window earlier this year, it seems like that the club management is
still not satisfied with the squad’s depth, and have set their sights on acquiring the services of the Serbian international.
Djuricic, who arrived at Abe Lenstra Stadion in the summer of 2010, is regarded as one of the best attacking midfielders playing in the highest echelons of Dutch football.
Netting 15 goals while setting up plenty more in 78 appearances for the Friesland-based club, the youngster has made headlines for all the good reasons week in week out since his arrival in Friesland.
The 20-year-old has an ongoing contract at Abe Lenstra Stadion that runs until the summer of 2014. Although, the club management does not want to let go of their star player halfway through the season, an offer in the region of 10 million Euros could prove
to be too tempting to turn down.
Furthermore, with AC Milan and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 both taking keen interest in signing the midfield ace, it seems unlikely that the youngster would be donning the jersey of Heerenveen in the second-half of the campaign.
