  1. The 'manboob's are more than likely a hormonal imbalance, where the female hormone 'estrogen' is in disproportion to testosterone. I suggest seeing a doctor for his/her suggestions.

Edit: I am going to elaborate my answer to raise how important it is you consider this to possible extend to more than just fat deposits.

I am experienced medical practitioner and gynecomastia is the name of the condition I described in very simple terms above. It happens most commonly with boys your age, sure you could assume it's fatty deposits circulating the pectoral area like the answer below, but I think you should consult your GP for advice on what the cause of the problem is and if it's what I said it is then you can get the anti-estrogen treatments. You see your body is undergoing a lot of changes and your testicles (which manufacture this male hormone 'testosterone'), are developing, which sometimes affect their performance. If you ask me you should see a doctor.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gynecomasti... <--- here's an article if you would like to do a little research.

I'm not answering this for your approval, or the approval of other users; this is your health I'm concerned about. Although the answer below is a possibility; it's best not to run a risk with your health.

  2. yes it will help and you will lose weight in other places too. you'll also get more muscle in your legs. i also recommend working out your chest muscles. if possible, join a gym and use the chest machines. if you can't do that, buy some weights from a sporting goods store and look up chest exercises online. good luck!

  3. They will likely go away on their own. You are only 14. Your body is going to change fast. Doing push ups will help alot.Start out with 20 a day and increase up to 5 more every week. They strengthen the pectoral muscles which lye just beneath the b*****s on both males and females. My son's man b***s went away shortly after he did this. also, alot of guys your age have this issue. You are not alone. I seriously doubt you have a hormone imbalance. h**l, you are 14. Everyone at that age has legitimate"home imbalances". Bodies grow so fast at your age and your body will change fast. You are perfectly normal. Also, get a set of 10 pound dumb bell weights. They are not that expensive. They sell them at Wal-mart, Meijer, etc... Do butterfly exercises 20 times in a row every day. Increase the amount as you feel comfortable each week. Most guys get results within a month .Do this every day along with the push ups but don't over do it. You will be sore at first. If you don't know what the butterfly exercise is, google it.It is easy and works right on the pectorals as well. It is easiest to do them while lying on the ground. Ask around at school to see if anyone has some dumb bells they would sell you cheap or trade you something for them.

  4. yes. any form of excercise will. try to focus on your upper body like doing push ups, sit ups, crunches, etc.
