Height cut off for USMC grunts?

Question

I want to join the Marines and be a rifleman in the infantry. Now i am a sophomore in high school and am about 6'2" i am not sure if i will continue to grow so i was wondering. If there is a max height for the grunts?

At 6 foot 2 you will have no problem. Your size can work as an advantage to you sometimes, other times it will be against you.  I believe the height max is 6 foot 6.

You are still fine at 6'2".  Also they are called recruits not grunts.

I dont think there is but what choice do you have?

And you can not choose rifle man..You can only choose the infantry MOS..The USMC will place you into one of the five infantry MOS's as they see fit.

WEIGHT: Proportionate to Height

COLOR VISION: No standard requirement

and do you really wanna be a USMC grunt? look into other options. like the USAF

How's the oxygen up there?  You'll have a lot of Marines that will 'look up' to you!  Not sure on the height, but I seen some pretty tall grunts!
