  1. it depends on your position, like if you are a libero or setter, you good. and you'd probably be ok for a hitter

  2. nope. im only 5'0

  3. no, my sister is really good at volleyball and she is only4' 11". im only 5' 1and a half and a good blocker. you should be fine.

  4. actually 5'8" is a pretty good height. main thing is you can jump especially if you want to play the front. work on weight lifting like squats and leg press. plyos and abs are also important. the best thing to do is to try and the rim of the basketball hoop. and work on passing just in case cause passing is key. now with the libero in play there are chances for girls that are shorter to play more.

  5. no theres never a hieght that is to short for volleyball. my coach will play on his knees to show us that it is possable for short ppl to play cause one of the girls is short and she was complaining that the reason she cant spike that well is becuase of her hieght. he proved her wrong. so dont let your hieght be the reason why your not playing volleyball. college beginners it doesnt matter

  6. it doesent matter how tall u r it matters if u can jump high.

  7. no not at all. it all depends on your skills

  8. Personally, I believe it's all about the skills you hold, and the determination you have to win.

I'm 5'7, and usually play as a setter, or left, center, right backs.

But, there's a girl on our team that is 4'11, and is a beast at serving, and is our main hitter.

  9. no. i believe theres a girl from berkeley who's 5'6 or something not quite sure and she is a great outside hitter. she explodes like its nothing. if your vertical jump isnt that great plyometrics is advised
