Height limit for a structure above

Question

I have a turbo elite 4 burner built in grill --I have built a ramada above the grill-- The bottom of the roof is 6ft from the grill --My inspector is not passing this grill and ramada because in your manual it says that there are to be no structures above at all !! --- I installed metal sheet panels above grill --per your managers suggestion at store in Tucson -- It did not pass he said I need something from the manufacturer , giving a height limitation or giving sheilding metal specs -- I have spent alot of money buying all of my kitchen --$ 3,200.00 with you guys and I am hoping that you can give me some answers on what to do with this problem !-- Thank You Neil Bentley --Tucson AZ
