  1. all the new 250's I've seen sit too high for me at 5'8" but if you are getting really aggressive it probably works great

  2. the 250 might be a little hard for you to muscle around....

Im thinking the other way around, I want a banshee LOL With a cub kit big bore and toomey pipes, OH man do those things fly, Oh by the way so will a 250, heck even a 125cc 2 stroke will fly with a 140 pound rider......

  3. Go to some shops and sit on the Motocross bikes.

2 & 4 stroke bikes will have the same seat height.

Actually, being a little shorter than average is a plus when riding motocross.

With short legs, your butt is closer to the seat when standing on the pegs and your legs don't bend as much, giving your legs less of a work out.

When going over bumps & jumps, your legs are bending at the knees.

The more you bend (from a full squating position, to full leg extension) the more of a work out your legs get.

  4. I've seen plenty guys your height riding a full sized MX bike. I'm only a couple inches taller than you and I don't even think about it being an issue. The seat height of a 125 and 250 are the same and the weight is very close. A 250 would be just as easy for you as a 125.
