Question:

I know of all the health benefits of ACV and my family and I have started drinking 2 tblsp. with water and honey. But we are using the Heinz, brown tinted ACV and I just read that that was not an acceptable one to use for health benefits. Does anyone know? And where can I find the good stuff with the "mother" ? Thanks so much.

  1. Try a health food store, and it's good for heart burn.

  2. You will find it at the Health Food Store, it is about  $2.00 and it does have the "mother" in it.

  3. Heinz is not true ACV.  It has been highly processed.

You want to look for "Braggs" brand of ACV.   It does have the "mother" and is extremely high quality.  Look for it in a good health food store.

  4. There are no "health benefits" to ACV.  They're just myth and nonsense.  So it doesn't matter what you use, you're just wasting time and money either way.

  5. Hi,

Yes it is important to drink ACV with the 'mother' in it. Allegedly, it essentially is precipitated bacterial culture and some nutrients too. Don't get spooked. Just imagine the live active cultures in yogurt. Its similar to that.

Following is the site where I get my unfiltered ACV from.

    All the best.

  6. you will not get the health benefits from the Heinz because it has been distilled....the cloudy stuff that is taken out is where the health benefits are....some major grocery stores that have a health food section carry the undistilled apple cider vinegar....Braggs is a very popular brand....also health food stores.....
