Everton defender, Johnny Heitinga unravelled his ambition of reclaiming his place in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes’ starting eleven, and quashed the rumours that he was planning on parting ways with the Toffees.

On Monday, the 28-year old watched his side beat Manchester United 1-0 from the sidelines, and only appeared in the final minute of the game.
Given his second choice status at the Merseyside club, Heitinga’s name was dragged in the midst of speculations and rumours over his possible future destination this summer.
However, the centre back moved to dispel all the suggestions linking his move away from Goodison Park. He revealed that he had no plans of calling it quits to his Everton career, and instead vowed to put up a fight to secure his place in the regular playing
eleven.
While talking to the reporters, he said: “I will fight for my position and stay at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019. Everton is a big club, a club where I feel well.”
Heitinga, who wears the number 5 jersey, was signed by the Toffees from the Dutch side, Ajax in September 2009, for an estimated transfer fee of 6.2 million pounds.
So far, he has capped 106 professional appearances for the club, and also scored 3 goals during this period.
Having earlier spent almost seven years at Ajax, the defender has been tipped by some to make a return to his former club.
Despite revealing his happiness on being at Everton, the player refused to rule out the option of rejoining the Dutch team in the future. However, he explained that the time was not right at the moment to make a return to Amsterdam, but was more than willing
to consider it as an option in future.
He added, “I learned in football never to say never. Ajax and Everton are my clubs. The time isn’t there yet to come to Amsterdam.”
The Dutchman has represented the Lancers in 215 games in all competitions.
