Schalke team manager Horst Heldt has expressed that the star midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lewis-Holtby-c22175 might make a move to an English team at the end of the current season. Several Premier League clubs are interested in capturing the services of
the talented player.
The playmaker who has an English family stated that he would like to ply his trade in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 as his
father is a life-long fan of the club.
However, the 22-year-old suggested that even though he wants to move to an English side, he will not rule out http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 only because of his dad’s association with their fierce rivals Everton.
"I have always said that one day; I want to play in England. I would not exclude Liverpool, even if it would mean a hit against my father who is a die-hard Everton fan," he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Miners’ general manager Horst Heldt said that he has received good offers for the attacker, and conceded that the player is set to depart the German club soon. The youngster is of English parentage, therefore he is expected to
transfer to a Premier League team.
"Lewis has English roots, I understand that he is chasing this dream,” the former Stuttgart and Eintracht Frankfurt player mused.
