  1. yes it will! switch to a hostage rest you will get the same advantages as a wisker with higher fps.

  2. Whisker Biscuts :)

  3. Won't affect vanes but will tend to pull shots to opposite side of twist pattern.  FYI the biscuit is neat but a royal pain for hunting in cold weather.  It tends to hold moisture which freezes in cold weather like winter moose or bear hunting.

  4. HUNTING IS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Get the blazer vanes and use 1,2, or 3 degree offset- that is what is recommended , but I have no trouble shooting helical fletched blazers.I would go with the blazers because they will hold up better in the whiskey biscuit then any other vane, and will control broadheads very good-plus they are the quietest vane on the market as it goes through the air- I never would have believed any of this, until I tried them myself. They work! All my life I shot 5 inch turkey feathers- I now shoot only blazers, due to their performance.

  6. I use a QS Whisker Biscuit and last year purchased new arrows with 4" helical plastic fletching (everything else about the arrows was identical to the straight 4" plastic fletched arrows I had been using).  With target points I found absolutely no difference between the old and new arrows with respect to passage through the Whisker Biscuit or point of impact.

I switched because I understand that helical fletching is better at stabilizing arrows with broad-heads than straight fletching, even though I've had no problems with straight fletching for arrows with 100gr Muzzy broad-heads.  I also would not expect a problem with the new Quick Spin 4" fletching and Whisker Biscuits.

The pro shop where I shoot said that the Blazers are becoming more popular, but I've not heard any comparisons between 4" fletching and Blazers with respect to use with Whisker Biscuits.  The larger diameter of the Blazers may react differently with the fibers of the Whisker Biscuit.

  7. Forgive my ignorance, I'm not a bowhunter.

What's a whisker bisciut? Please add details and let me know!
