Helicoil - how to add inserts together?

Ok basically one insert isnt big enough how do I add multiple inserts together since each on has an end to it?

I wouldn't try stacking. What are you trying to repair? If it's a plug that's stripped, that would have a special application. Anything else would have to be looked at as to application.

don't try to stack heli-coils get a longer one to use in that application, or you may end up running a plug in and pushing the bottom heli-coil out into the cylinder.

if your unsure on how to use heli coil i would get some one that does it is simple to use and do but also simple to mess up especially when what ever it is your fixing falls off down the road! but they sell them in different sizes from any hardware store

they sell helicoils in asst. lengths sounds like you have the wrong one
