Helicopters and my future

Well I figured out about 5 months ago that I was a born to be helicopter pilot I fit all the mental and physical characteristics of one. Now what I want to ask, are there any colleges that specialize in pre-military helicopter flight that will give you a degree? I want to be a helicopter pilot for the army and basically use it as flight training to fly for a hospital as a life flight. I don't really care how much each one makes I just have this passion to want to become a helicopter pilot. But yeah, basically is there any type of school that can directly prepare me for flight training in the army and let me come out as a butter bar(2nd Lieutenant)

  1. I would suggest getting into the Army's Warrant Officer program.  Let them teach you how to fly.  Once you have completed that, look into a college that has a degree in something like Aeronautical Sciences.  I know Embry Riddle has specific courses for people wanting to pursue a career in flying.  You may find flying in the military to be every bit as rewarding as flying for a medevac company if you don't care about the money.  Whatever your choice, best of luck to you!
