  1. It weighs the same

  2. heavier!:)

  3. heavier....

  4. Zan is right...

But if it was not presurised...then it depends on...

    1.  If the Helium was simply just let out of the tank, and normal atmospheric air replaces the helium in the tank.. then the tank would be HEAVIER...  This is because normal atmospheric air, (Nitrogen, Oxygen and other gasses that make up normal air) is heavier than Helium

    2.  If the Helium was PUMPED out of the tank (say with a piston), and no air moves in to replace the Helium, then the Tank would be LIGHTER.

  5. Helium is lighter than air, but it still has mass and thus weight.  The gas would probably be pressurized in the container, so it would get lighter once the gas is released.

  6. It stays the same!!!!!!!!

  7. Lighter??? IDK

  8. it stays the same?

  9. depends on how much helium.  If theres enough helium compressed to excede the weight of the air in the atmosphere then it will get lighter but if theres not much helium and it weighs less than the air then the tank will get heavier.

  10. The weight of the tank does not change, how could it?

The apparent weight of the tank plus compressed helium compared to the apparent weight of the tank with air at atmospheric pressure in it? Is that your question?

If the helium is heavily compressed, more than 10 atmospheres, then it weighs more than the same volume of air at atmospheric pressure, and therefore the apparent weight will decrease when the helium is released.

If the helium is lightly compressed, then you have to use the gas laws to calculate the weight of the helium at the specified pressure and compare it to the weigh of a tank full of air at atmospheric pressure.
