  1. I think the whole quote is h**l hath no fury like a woman scorned or like a man regected

  2. The correct quote is "h**l hath no fury as a woman scorned". There is a difference between a woman's scorn and a woman scorned. The quote orginates from the closing line of act III of William Congreve's "The Mourning Bride" play, first performed in 1697. The quote from the play is

Heav'n has no rage like love to hatred turn'd

    Nor h**l a fury, like a woman scorn'd.

It means if you scorn or hurt a woman, you will have to face the consequences of her reaction.

  3. Yes you have it right you also can say it as h**l hath no fury like a woman scorned. It means woman can be very mean nasty and vindictive if you cross her

  4. h**l hath no fury like a woman scorned. Basically means don't do anything to p**s a woman off as you might just regret it ! ( to put it simply )

  5. Or "h**l hath no fury like a woman's corns."

  6. You have and it means if a woman comes on to you and you turn her down, beware the repercussions of her fury as they are likely to be worse than hellish!
