  1. This is one of the Mantras which is used to praise Lord Vishnu, there is no any particular name for the mantras.


  2. 1) Mangala Harati, Lord Vishnu;

    "Mangalam Bhagavan Vishnum

    Mangalam Garudadhwajah

    Mangalam Pundareekaksham

    Mangalayatano Harih"

    'All auspiciousness to God Vishnu

    All auspiciousness to One who has Garuda as His flag

    All auspiciousness to One who has eyes like the lotus flowers

    And auspeciousness to Hari'

    2) Mangala Harati, lord Shiva:

    Burn Camphor and circle it clockwise 3 times and chant:

    "Karpura gauram Karuna Vataram Samsara Saram Bhujagendraharam Sada Vasantam

    Hridaya Ravinde Bhavam Bhavani Sahitam Namami"

    'White as camphor and kindness incarnate, the very form of Brahman consciousness, you Shiva ever dwell in my heart. I bow to you.'

    3) Reciting at the end of pooja:

    "Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina, sarve santunirama, sarve badrani pashyntu, ma kashchit dukha babhave"

    'May all be happy. May all be healthy. May all attain peace and perfection. May no one bear suffering or pain.'

    4) Guru Vandanam:

    "Guru Brahmaa, Guru Vishnu, Gurudeva Maheswara

    Guru saakhsaat Parambrahma, tasmayi Shri Gurave Namoh."

    'Guru himself is Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva-

    And is representative of the Supreme-Soul, hence regards and obligations to Guru.'

    5) Mantrapushpam: Take flowers in your hand and after the following is said offer the flowers to the deity.

    "OM Rajadhi rajaya prasahya Sahine" |

    OM = The form of OM; Rajadhi rajaya = The lord of all lords; prasahya sahine = One who is above the endurers.

    The supreme of the kings, one who possess great patience (endurance) or his chariot.

    "Namo vayam Vai sravanaya Kurmahe" |

    Namah = Salutation; Vayam = We; Vaisravanaya = For Vaisravana; Kurmahe = Are bowing

    We salute him who blesses us with wealth.

    "Same Kaman Kama Kamaya Mahyam" |

    Same Kaman = All desires; Kama Kamaya = Possessing desires;Mahyam = Our.

    He is one of our desires and for possessing our desire.

    "Kamesvaro Vai Sravano Dadatu" |

    Kamesvaro = The lord of all desires; Vaisravanah = To that vaisravana; Dadatu = Let him grant.

    The Lord of desire Kubera. To him we salute.

    "Kuberaya Va sravanaya ! Maharajaya Namah" |

    To such Kubera, the great emperor who fulfills our desire we salute.
