Ok so my boyriend stopped by BK to get dinner & was kinda preoccupied and drove off without getting his 14.39 in change.. He realized after finishing his meal and went back in the place and told them what happened... they were really rude and were like can you come back later?? then they said they couldn't count their drawer until 11? does this sound right? what should he do???

  1. The only thing unfortunate with that is you have no proof. They could find out that they didn't give the change out is when they do count the drawer at night and if it is "over" the amount that should be in there from the total sales that day, that's a way they can tell. It's difficult because you don't want to be scammed but they don't either... so I would definitely go back, and if they do give you trouble, ask to see the security cameras for proof because you did NOT receive any change. They might just hand it over. I know it's not much to some people, but 15 bucks if 15 bucks!

    Good luck

  2. Go back later!

  3. Go back and speak with a manager first and let them know your situation....if they told you they can't count the draw until 11 then be there at 10:30. They can always go into the draw but until they are able to fully count the draw out they won't know if it is over or under.

The sad part is that the cashier probably knew they didn't give you your change and tried to pocket it. BK has cameras over their cash registers so if they give u anymore trouble ask for the tape to be pulled. If it was $5 or $15 its still your money so go back and get it.

  4. THESE PEOPLE MIGHT KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

  5. You need to talk to a manager they can count the drawer and know that you didn't get your change.  They might be busy but that doesn't stop them from handling the situation.

  6. Report them to the 1800 number on the reciept or bag!

  7. No, they scammed him.  They can open the drawer at the next sale or call a manager to open it immediately.  The probably close at 11pm!

  8. ask the toothfairy. she always helps me out

  9. Talk to the manager, they usually like to sort things out and make customers happy.

  10. well, if they had a customer first attitude they would give him the money right away, with risk that they may be short-changed. however, there is no way to tell if they really did owe him change until they close and count their tills. to do this, he has to wait till later. it's fine and reasonable but annoying to the customer. he should go back..talk to the manager.

  11. they cannot hold your money for as long as they feel like it. can they not switch the drawers with new ones?

tell them to get the manager or call their 1-800 business number.

  12. Talk to the manager, usually big corporations don't want to have disputes and will settle it painlessly.
