Hello, Does anyone know how to replace a belt on a Troy-Bilt walk behind, self propelled. Model 12A 446A011?

The drive belt slipped off, trying to get it back on. Pushing the lawn mower to cut my lawn not nearly as fun as having it prople itself

  1. slip a part of the belt on the pulley then use 1 or 2 flat screwdriver to guide the rest of the belt back on the rest of the pulley.

  3. Try the screwdriver idea, and also download your manual from the web if you lost it. It should say in there. I had to do that with my Poulan chainsaw, to replace the chain.

  4. whether this is a rear or front wheel drive model, you should just be able to life off the cover. there is a tension that is operated when you pull the handle. when that is lose, your belt should slip off or on relatively easily. otherwise yes, a s***w driver might come to some assistance. just use caution as to you don't want to bend the pulley leading to future issues! good luck!!!
