If I catch a pikachu in Fire Red, will there be a chance that it will be holding a light ball?

sorry to break this to you, but there is 0% chance of a pikachu to hold a light ball in firered OR leafgreen. the only way to get the light ball is to trade it from ruby sapphire or emerald. sorry... =(

(since that wasnt much help, keep in mind that the use of the light ball is that it doubles pikachu's special attack.)
