Would the UK be fine??

I don't have problems with the weather. In fact, I like your English cold and rainy climate!!!!

In Mexico we drive with our wheel on the left side and you drive with yours on the right side. Ways in the streets change of course. Is it difficult to get used to that system??

Will I ever need a car?? Or will I be fine in buses??

I don't like big cities, such as London. Is Dublin that big or less big.

Is the discrimination to foreigners so particulary severe as in other parts in Europe??

What should I do to meet residency requirements??

Will I have problems with my English??

If I plan to live in Edinburgh, do they speak gaelic or whatever name is?? (I'd like Scotland)

Wales should be good??. I would'nt like N Ireland because I feel it's very far from the rest of the Kigdom. Shoul I pick Eire instead??

Thank you

  1. People from edinburgh speak english (scottish). But there just normal.

  2. I Think You Should Move To London, There Are Loads Of People Who Have Moved From Other Countrys, And Therefore People In London Are More Used To Foreign Accents.

  3. you just may have problems gaining a working visa.

we have a points system that you have to go through to prove that you have a enough skills, so that you would benefit society by being here.

Basically, your only granted a visa if you have skills we are in desperate need of in the UK

any British, EU or Commonwealth citizen is before you in priority to get jobs as well, as employers have to prove that nobody in the EU can do that job.

it's very difficult to move here I'm afraid

  4. http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/

  5. Yes UK is lovely, born and lived here all my life, you should move to a nice south coast seaside town, maybe Brighton, there are lots of varieties of people from all kinds of life and backgrounds, lots of people from all over live there. Take a look on the net I'm sure you'll like it, only the house prices are not cheap.

  6. I'm from Dublin, Ireland. If you've already made up your mind to emigrate and you have no problem with the bad weather (it's really bad right now & it's mid-summer), people here in general, don't discriminate against foreigners. Your English seems fine (text). It's hard to understand some of the English speaking country folk here anyway. But be advised, we're going through an economic slow down at present & jobs may be hard to find. In conclusion, I don't know man.

  7. You would get used to the driving in no time, I did. You might not need a car if you live in a larger city. I suppose you can find racism everywhere in the world. Good luck. I agree with Jenny B. I live near London too, and yes foreigners are everywhere.

  8. The UK is just about the most accepting country in the world. Maybe travel around the country first, you will see what you like and dislike before settling.
