Got a new water pump but not the problem found it >>It looks to be the part that the water pump bolts to, if looking at the water pump the left bolt, water is coming out the back of that bolt hole. Also where the heater core hose hooks up to the motor there is a plastic part L shape that is dripping only. Major problem is behind the water pump...PLEASE HELP

  1. The two elbows coming out of the water pump that connect to the heater hoses are dealer-only parts and they are NOT plastic they are steel with a silicone O ring towards the bottom. There are spring clips that hold the heater hoses to these two water pump fittings. They are heald in place with one small bolt and a collar. There are two slick ways of stopping the water leakage around the bolt head. #1. At a car dealer or auto parts store get a *teflon power steering or air conditioning washer (Summit has these washers) to slide on the bolt before tightening it up. #2. wipe on blue silicone gasket maker under the head of the bolt before tightening it up.

  2. You need a gasket or some silicone where the pump bolts to the engine block. Or it could be a freeze plug is leaking.

  3. Sounds like you going to need to have the timing cover gasket replaced and the plastic elbow too. And maybe a new timing cover if its no good.
