Hello, i jus bought a spyder compact java and i need help because i am very new to paintball?

Okay well i jus bought the gun and i wuld like to know which hopper barrel and paint i shuld get and fit properely.....also any other tips i wuld appreciate =].....another thing i wuld like to know is if i shoot my gun without paint in it wuld it damage the gun? thank you so much for answering and i will giv pionts to eveyone that help me =]

1st thing you need is 68.9 cal paintballs the most common every where so thats no problem a regular 200 round hopper and Elbow are fine but get a couple extra elbows they will break sometimes you cant put a clamping neck on them but just get a couple elbows and that will help as for barrels do not go longer than 16" anything bigger is a waste of money cause 18"-24" shoot the same as 16" they are just for looks i would go with a PMI razzor 14" or J&J tru flight 14" or check amazon.com 14 inch Spyder thread barrels are the best it dont matter what brand
