  2. Why join the UK Military - its still riddled with class distinction, always has been, always will be. Fails utterly to look after its wounded rank and file - throws them out on the street! Elements still housed in WW11 accommodation. Uniforms out dated, outmoded. Abuse is rampant. Its office corps the most useless twits imaginable. Live totally apart, divorced from their ranker's.Its ships, planes, army equipment the oldest of most armies.

Sent all over the world to protect non-democratic gov-ts. Keep enthroned gutless dictators like the Saudi King and every country in the gulf and middle east, ruled by dictators, clerics, nutters. And spreading every day further and further into the heartland of western civilisation with their never ending demands, threats and violence paramount everywhere!

And U wan't to volunteer - join them.

  3. Yes, as long as you were born in a Commonwealth country and are currently a citizen of one (like Canada), you should be quite eligible to enlist in the British Army or Royal Marines. Citizenship requirements for Officer jobs and other parts of the RAF and Royal Navy are higher.

  4. I think you will need to renounce you US citizenship.

  5. You can join up but I believe that because you also have US nationality - at some stage in the application - you will have to seek consent (permission) from the US to sign up with the UK army, navy, airforce.

Why not join up with the Canadians? Like you said they're Commonwealth, and the training is all NATO based.

  6. Your right about us being a Commonwealth of Britain. We stop that nonsense back in 1783 lol.
