Hello. Can you tell me what you think of the name Spiro?

This name is pronounced 'SPEE-ro.' I didn't say I liked this name, by the way...I just wanted to have some perspectives on it. Also, this is for far-in-the-future reference. Thanks ahead of time.

I like the name, it was the name of one of my close friends grandfather. It is actually a variant of Spyro, from Spyridon. I LOVE the name Silas, spelt as such. It is the name of my 15 year old son. I abhor spelling it with a Y.

Its different all right... I dont like it only cause it sounds too close to spyro (you know that purple dragon on the video game??) lol

I love it because I have a Macedonian friend who's GORGEOUS who's called Spira, and in Macedonian the affection term for Spira is Spiro.
