Hello Dino’s first Grade A1 race of the season turns out to be his first victory of the season at Monmore
The Grade A1 flat race was held at Monmore on 2nd January, 2012, which was raced over a distance of 480 metres and promised the prize money of £161 which was presented to the 6 to 4 favourite of the race, Hello Dino.

The son of Hondo Black out of Blue Honey born in June 2008 led the track as soon as he broke from the first stall and was on the other side of the wire in 28.74 seconds. Trained by P Curtin, he left the runner up of the race, Monkspath Azluke, behind
by three lengths.
P Burford trained, Monkspath Azluke, rushed through the wire in 28.98 seconds. He was initially crowded, but gradually made his way out as he secured the second position in the race. Following third in line behind the winner and the runner up was M
Burt conditioned, Proud Patsy.
He lagged half a length behind the third place finisher and took 29.02 seconds to finish the race. Barging in after managing the 4 ½ length gap was, Tuttles Maldini, who is trained by C Price.

He joined the rest on the other end of the wire in 29.38 seconds. Missing the chance by a head’s difference was the other entry of P Burford, Astros Rocket, who lacked the agility to challenge the rampant leaders, hence finishing off the board fifth
place finish as he covered the distance in 29.39 seconds.
Chris Allsopp, who is famous for winning many instrumental races and training top of the line hounds was stuck with, Gagsys Classic, who completed the order of finish. He took the longest, 29.85 seconds in order to put the race to an end.
This was Hello Dino’s first race and first victory of the New Year. Last month he raced twice, winning once and coming sixth in the second race. He won the Jo & Donna’s Birthday Bash at Monmore on 10thDecemeber where he defeated the 2 to
1 favourite of the race, Wally Billy.
Hello Dino has participated in numerous Grade A1 and other open races throughout his career and at only a few instances he finished off the money. Whether the bright beginning of the year will continue or not is yet to be seen.
