Hello Glory likely to prevail in Sandringham Handicap
Hello Glory is likely to claim the Sandringham Handicap (Listed Race) (Fillies) at Ascot in England on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. A cash prize of £31,191 has been set for the winner of the class-1 race.
The track conditions will be good in the 1 mile event, which is scheduled to start at 17:35 GMT, and following runners will be seen in action: Duntle, Ladys First, Electrelane, Devotion, Hello Glory, Kinetica, Esentepe, Pimpernel, Arsaadi, Switcher, Falls
Of Lora, Way Too Hot, Villeneuve, Fillionaire, Semayyel, Kickingthelilly and What´s Up.
There is a doubt over the participation of Illaunglass, who was one of the least favourites to make an impression today. She has participated in four events, but managed to win just one of them.
Out of the remaining runners, Hello Glory seems to be in a very good position right now, thus there are chances for her to take the top spot. She is carrying a nice momentum, which will help her attract a lot of bets from the punters.
The three-year-old filly has participated in five events until now, winning one of them. However, she has secured the third place on a couple of times, which shows that she has the potential to fight at the front.
In her most recent run, the David Simcock’s trainee finished third overall. She was given pretty decent odds back then, but was unable to challenge the leaders. She will need to make a big improvement in order to win the Sandringham Handicap.
Hello Glory will be partnered by seasoned jockey, Jamie Spencer, who has won numerous races at this level. His strike rate is also on the positive side, which means that he wins races with consistency. He will definitely be looking forward to a solid show
at Ascot today.
On the other hand, the bookies have given better odds to Duntle, who has got a decent record at this level. She has participated in three events until now, winning one of them, but failed to make a big impression in the others.
The David Wachman’s trainee finished fourth in her most recent outing, but the conditions were different back then. She has a solid chance to take the top spot at Ascot today.
