  1. ALT + 162

  2. You have to use the special character which are available in most word processors.  They have macro keys for them as well, I used to know a few.  If you're typing it online, you can copy the character from the word processor and past them into whatever field you need it in.

  3. ??????

  4. ALT 0243

  5. well if your typing in a microsoft word document and pretty much anything else look for the symboles tab it should be in like the insert section and it sasy symboles and a bunch of letters will pop up and u pick the one with the dash ontop of the "O''

    so once again

    -insert

    -symboles

-then look for the "o" its always there

  6. Ok well i wrote like the whole thing before and it all got deleted so im gunna edit it it cuz it will take awhile!

  7. you have to press down alt and at the same time type in 0241 and for the n do the same except with the #'s 0242

    example: O=ò        N=ñ

  8. Hold down the ALT button and then type the consecutive numbers 162 on the numberpad to your right WITHOUT letting up on the ALT key.

  9. You mean like this ó?

You could just set your computer's keyboard to alternate between English and another language. You can add "United States International, and you will have all the characters in Spanish, Portuguese and many other, like these: ç, ñ, ã, õ, é, ô, ê, à, ò, á, ó...

If you are going to use shortcuts, like some people suggested, make sure you are using a full keyboard and with number lock enabled. You can't use the shortcuts with the regular number keys. On a laptop you would need to turn on the number lock, then use it by holding the fn key and pressing the numbers that are above the letters. It is a bit hard to remember all the shortcuts and they don't always work.

If you want to set your keyboard, it's very easy and you can use one simply shortcut to alternate. E-mail me if you need help.

I don't know about another OS, but on Vista, you can use Character Map, there you will find all kinds of characters and symbols. Just type Character Map on your start menu.

  10. I don't know what character you need, but if you go to "Insert" then "symbol" you may be able to find the "o" with the line there. If you do, just insert it. If you do a lot of this, you can program a shortcut key for the specific character.

  11. If you are using Microsoft Word, you can use this shortcut:

    Ctrl+', o.

You press the Ctrl key in conjunction with the ' (apostrophe) and then let go, then press "o".

If this does not work, you can go to Insert-->Symbol and then find the accented o.

    Hope this helps!

  12. press "control" and hold it, then press the apostrophe.  Now type the "o" and it should work.  It depends on the program, though.

  13. Hold ALT on your keyboard while entering 0245 on the number key pad (on the right hand side of your keyboard not above)

    You will get the "õ"

  14. push the ctrl and the apostrophe button before you type the o and then type the o and it should appear.  (its either the ctrl or the alt button, im not entirely sure, its been a while since i used it)
