  1. you might try amdro ant block you put it around your house outside, it's supposed to go back to the queen

  2. ants can come in your house from anywhere basically like my sister had soda in the bedroom and forgot to pisk up the lid after herselve the next day there were ants everywhere so the only tips i can give you is keep your house clean sweep the floors and use ant spray.

  3. Just put an ant trap. One ant will take back poison to the colony and kill them all. You could always spray but if you have pets and children might nit be wise.

  4. Do they get big? They may be wood ants that come from the outside of your house and they can enter from anywhere, inside small cracks or right from your open door.

  5. i believe they usually form a line so just follow it and ull see it and just use pestiside or an special thing ant killers o and if u had spiders like just one it kills them so thats a "natural"barrier

  6. One danger is in getting rid of them, depending on their breed.

There's a breed called the Pharoah ant, I think - it has its main nest, but builds satellite nests too, so basically, you never know if your house could be riddled...

Oh, and for every one you kill, a sound/pheromone/whatever it is they communicate death with is emitted, and you're gonna have another 100 ants.  Quick reproduction is one of their advantages...

If it's an immense problem, I suggest calling people in.

Otherwise, I've found sticky things to be helpful.  Sprays and powders seem useless.  I hoovered some up with a load of ant killing powder once, and they actually build an ant farm in the Dyson.

  7. My parents live back in a wooded area and I remember my mom having the hardest time getting rid of the ants. Strange....her cure was coffee grounds. I'm not sure where she got the idea but when my dad was done making the coffee she would take out the filter (set it on a plate\bowl) and set the grounds where the pests were located and low and behold.....her problem disappeared. Hope this is helpful for you.

  8. get on your hands and knees and follow them! they usually come out of a crack or a small hole in a wall! or behind a fireplace! you can get these little disc things with ant food in them, you put it down and the ants carry the food the "nest" the food is poisoned and kills the "nest"! good luck!

  9. They're in a wall, or windowsill. Are they tiny black ants?

We had those things for a while... they would ALWAYS be crawling around and we couldn't figure it out. I found one group under a rug, but that didn't solve the problem.

We eventually got this poison (forget what it was called but it's easy to find)... a clear liquid that you drip on counters, floors, etc. The ants will gather round, drink the liquid, then take it back to the nest inside your walls or windowsills, etc. to share.

For a while, it won't seem like it's working, but keep it up for a couple days. Suddenly all the ants will disappear, and might not come back. Ours haven't and it's been at least a year.

  10. go ouside and look for a nest then ppoison the little F....s!!

  11. I had the same problem.

I made this problem go away by spraying Spectracide on all the cracks and edges of my home, inside and out. I saw the number of them go down, but there was still a large number. So, I went outside and sprayed the anthills. I never see them again.
