Hello I am going to Crete next week,i am taking my 2yearold grandson?

I would like to know if anyone has any simple phrases that i could teach my grand son,such has,hello,thankyou,please,He is very forward and would pick short words up very quickly.I would like him to show his manners and be polite,can anyone help thankyou

    We have a granddaughter who came to Crete (where we live) for the first time when she was 2, about a year ago.

    She picked up some words very quickly, especially because the Greeks love kids and make a real fuss.

    "Yassoo"           means both Hello and Goodbye

    "Ef garys toe"     means thank you

    "Kali mera" means good morning

    "Kali spera" means good evening

    "Kali nikta" means good night
