  1. Try eBay, I collect Swiss wristwatches and have bought nearly 300 of them there in the past few years - there's PLENTY to choose from, and great prices too!!

If you'd like, I can offer suggestons of brand names for you to consider.

Your price range is at the lower end, but it is possible to get a VERY good watch for around that price - as long as you don't expect a well-known brand name.

  2. Try Ratners ! ! !

  3. I have an Omega Seamaster, a very nice watch, but I am sorry, it's a little above your price range - a watch should last a lifetime, and in that case it is quite reasonable.

  4. check out ebay they have everything, and cheap prices

  5. Notwithstanding your rejection of 'fake' watches, I can highly recommend Watchez.com from whom I have bought a number of watches.  These are replica watches and indistinguishable from the real thing.   They costs on average about $100-$150 (it's an American site)

If nothing else, it lets you live with a watch for a while before committing to buy and I treat it a bit like a test drive.  I always wanted a Breitling until I tried one out from this site and realised after a couple of weeks it was just too unweildy to use every day.

I now have two Le Coultre watches, both identical, one real and one replica from this site and I'd be hard-pushed to tell the difference.

Don't knock it until you've tried it.

Otherwise, go for a vintage watch site - should be in your range
