Hello! I have a Toshiba laptop that already has vista on it. Is there any way for me to make a copy of vista?

Just an extra copy as backup, it already came with a disc for the operating system but I cant find that, will Toshiba mail me a new one.. for free? If not please let me know how to make a CD or DVD file with vista.. thanks so much=)

You cant make a copy, its copyright Windows but you can buy it on http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... .

It is not really illigal to make a copy of Vista as long you have your own serial number. But on most boxes they place it is illigal to make a copy as then they always give out the serial number as well. in that case it is illigal as then you are running Vista on 2 or more pc with the same serial.
