Hello..I have a sound business plan to present. How do I find investors/lenders to present plan to?

I just dont fancy going onto Dragons Den! Tho I would meet with each individually if they gave me time! Wondered if anyone knew of a site for prospective lenders/investors who are looking for business's to invest in or of some way to find and approach possible interested parties?
