Hello, I need some help?

Question

I sold my car yesterday to a private owner and got the check for the money..

the day before my father had gone to a car dealership and put a deposit down on a car that I was intrested in getting..

So, we put the money down so that they would hold it for a day until we got the money from the lady who got my car (yesterday)

Now the person at the dealership called my dad today and said that they sold someoneelse MY CAR

what should I do?

Because they haven't even given us our money back..????
